First Annual Fall Gallery Walk & Open House

The Greer Station Association presents the First Annual Fall Gallery Walk. Greer Station merchants will be showcasing the artwork of various students and instructors from the Visual and Performing Arts Department at Greenville Tech Greer Campus, as well as the work of local artists. On 9/11/08 the International Ballet will be at the beautiful restored Davenport and you can meet the dancers, see costumes up close, and check behind-the-scene photos from their productions.
There is also a exhibition of photographs from Greenville and Europe in 100 Trade Street.

9/4/2008 and 9/11/2008 from 5:30 pm - 8 pm.

The International Festival

International Festival

The International Festival celebrates Spartanburg’s diverse community.
Enjoy diverse music and dance that spans the globe at the International Festival. Catch strolling performers or take a seat in front of four festival stages throughout the day in and around Barnet Park. Stroll through the International Folk Art Market, which features artists and cooperatives represting artists from across the globe. The International Boulevard of Foods offers a variety of foods from hina, Germany, Japan, Jamaica, Greece, France, Kenya, the Middle East, Laos, and much much more. Browse through exotic spices or authentic souvenirs at the Tourist Trade. The Avenue of Nations offers visitors to ask questions, learn about different cultures or reconnect with their roots.
At the International Kid’s Zone children can learn about other countries from around the world with hands on activities.
Come “Meet the World” through food, music, dance, art and more at the 23rd annual Spartanburg International Festival on September 27, 2008.

The Price House


The Price House is a stately and unique brick house located near Spartanburg. Its sturdy Flemish-bond brick construction and three stories are not very common for this area. It was build in 1795 by Thomas and Ann Price on their 2,000 acre plantation. Thomas was a postmaster and operated a general store and tavern.
The "house of publick entertainment" provided room and board for stagecoach travelers.
The Price House can be visited year round on Sundays and between April-October on Saturdays, also.


Take I-26 to Exit 28. Take 221 S towards Woodruff turn left at second light onto Hobbysville Road, go ca.3.5 miles, turn right into Price House Road, go ca. 3/4 mile turn right on Oak View Farms Road, Price house is on the fork of Price House Road and Oak View Farms Road.

Year round Sunday 2 pm - 5 pm
April - October
Saturday 11 am - 5 pm

Cost: Adults $ 4 / Youth $ 2.50
