The Price House

The Price House is a stately and unique brick house located near Spartanburg. Its sturdy Flemish-bond brick construction and three stories are not very common for this area. It was build in 1795 by Thomas and Ann Price on their 2,000 acre plantation. Thomas was a postmaster and operated a general store and tavern.
The "house of publick entertainment" provided room and board for stagecoach travelers.
The Price House can be visited year round on Sundays and between April-October on Saturdays, also.
